Over LimitNote that now only displays 10 camps sites at a time - need to click on next button to display more. The reason for this is that Google Static Maps only displays a maximum of 50 maps in a minute (and 250 in 6 hour period). As such I have broken it up to only display 10 at a time. Also displays from West to East instead of alphabetically. Note if you get the image to the right it means that either the maximum of 50 maps in a minute or 250 in 6 hours limits have been exceeded. If you wait a few minutes and refresh it should work again.

Lots of room for all size vans and RVs. Shops and Pub in nearby Tolga.

THIS SITE IS PARTIALLY CLOSED BUT IS EXPECTED TO FULLY REOPEN BY MIDDLE OF 2013. Large grassed area with good clean flush toilets and town water. Supermarkets and shops across the road. Very popular campsite. Sorry cant find a pic.

Basic camping near the dam. Composting toilet, that's about it. All domestic animals are prohibited in Koombooloomba National Park and Conservation Park.
Road in is quite narrow and not suited to vans. Camper trailer is about it. Open fires and generators are prohibited. Need to bring drinking water.

Winfield Park

3 klms from Malanda on the Atherton Tablelands. Situated on the banks of the Johnston River. Toilets are available at the other end of the park away from the camping area but within easy walking distance.
Little known or utilised park reserve for caravans or camper trailers. Beautiful location with natural platypus pool, small freshwater fishing and canoeing. Tents are not allowed - self contained vehicles only.

Like a mini caravan park toilets and cold shower no power 7klms from Babinda very quiet. Well maintained walks along the river, marked swimming area, picnic area and toilets in nearby National Parks parking area(150mtrs).
Five sites marked out in a semi circle around the toilet block not large sites accomodated our 16ft van and car without unhitching. Sites are now listed as two to each - so actually now 10 sites numbered. Sign indicated a max of 2 day stay.

Japoonvale - Liverpool Creek

Situated on Old Tully Rd about 10ks south of Paronella Park. Pleasant camp site beside Liverpool Creek. Flush toilets. No showers.
6 to 8 campsites located beside the creek. Very popular even though off the main road. Old Tully road can be a bit narrow but it is sealed all the way. Should be able to buy fresh bananas from local grower 100m from camping area. About 5 ks north of camp on the east side there is a rec' reserve with free hot showers and good water. You can camp there as well. (?? name)
