21 k's South of Streaky Bay on Weastall Way via Sceale Bay Rd. Various CLIFF TOP spots fenced off for small 2 medium vans or capervans. No posted signs no water no dunnies no shade but has got million dollar views can get extremely windy at times (blow your beard off windy) so not really suited for tents/camper trailer or people with wigs, unless you are keen.

No Facilities. council has upgraded and made the sites so small have trouble getting a car around and have closed all the beach access for boat trailers ruined a good camping area Tucked in to the sand dunes this site is sheltered from wind from any direction. Toilet Block has flushing toilets. If water runs out ring Shire and they will deliver water. Cold water showers outside block. Can get mice on beach. Keep van / car closed take left off highway. then veer left turning away from houses toward beach. Down to Turning area, some camping here.. Baird Bay Campsite - (Taken from Streaky Bay Council web site Feb 2010) Baird Bay campsite is a low-key, basic campsite. Limited water, so you must bring your own. Toilet facilities are reasonably new and kept in good order. There is also a new pergola area with an honour system pay gas barbeque. Sites are $10 per night and again an honour box system applies. Duration of stay is a maximum of seven nights. Non Powered level rubble site. Eco toilet Directions: Baird Bay Road Approx 50km NW of Port Kenny, Venus Bayapprox 60km and Approx 70km South of Streaky Bay.

Coodlie Park farm stay is located adj the coast between Mt Camel Beach and the Talia Caves about 50 kms west of Elliston. Bush campsite available with 1 shared very ordinary dirty blowfly filled flushing toilet. Showers available back at the homestead for $3 which is approx 1km away. Caravan sites and Cottages also available adj the homestead check web site.

Directions: Off the Flinders Hwy - The entrance to Coodlie Park is approx 15km from Venus Bay 16km from Port Kenny which has the nearest pub. There is an archway at the gate you cant miss it. Entrance coordinates -33.272852, 134.788942

bitumen to entrance, look for sign and animals at entrance, 2km rugged dirt/rock track to camp / FOLLOW YELLOW PAINTED TYRES TO CAMP SITE FROM FIRST GATE if no one at house . all vehicles can access at steady pace.

This camping area is nestled in behind the sand dunes with a short walk over the dunes to the beach, great for surf beach fishing.(Salmon)
